The Barossa Valley is Australia’s most famous wine region and is well known to produce highly concentrated, lush, complex, rich, and full-bodied wines. Summer days are hot and generally dry. Grapes ripen fast with high sugar levels and packed with flavour, producing intense wines with dark berries, plums, pepper, spice and liquorice characters. It is no surprise that Barossa Shiraz is renowned throughout the world as one of the best.
